structure
MAASIN operates as a project-centered model of committees and advisory working groups. Programming directors and working group leads help place volunteers and committee members on projects. All organizers and volunteers are encouraged to propose novel projects to supplement our existing programs and efforts.
Any community member over twenty two (22) years of age who is in good standing with the community is eligible for membership in the organization.
Communications
Communications organizers make everything you see online. They handle the graphics, copywriting, and social media.
PROSPER EDUCATION & WOrkshops
PROSPER Education & Workshops takes care of our relationships with the community, both organizations and individuals. They handle event planning from public events like our panels to private workshop bookings.

PROSPER Support Team members are here for you. Whether you need advice, find resources or file a report on your behalf, this committee operates with a priority on your anonymity and protection.
Fundraising
Fundraising organizers oversee how we gather and allocate funds. They handling budgeting, disbursing funds, fundraising, and scholarship efforts.
Research Committee
Research Committee gathers and synthesizes information for projects related to the MAASIN mission and vision. They make, distribute, and analyze surveys as well as help fact check for other committees.

RESOURCE DATABASE
We are putting together a publicly accessible database with resources on topics such as mental health, trauma, supporting survivors of sexual assault, fostering an LGBTQIA+ positive environment, what BLM and anti-racism should mean for marching arts, and more. This way you can prepare yourself to come into the next season smarter and more compassionate on important topics.
